Our innovative tool lies both ways comfortably in the hand – and eases pressure on the wrist during daily work. 

Cutting is made therefore significantly easier and the result much more precise. The design is as strong as the quality.

• The new Freund Master Cut is designed to cut natural slate and fibre cement sheets up to 1/4” thick
• Has a sleek ergonomic design to reduce hand fatigue
• Includes a nail punch and depth gauge in mm for accurate punching
• It has a 55mm / 2.165 inches blade length
• Strong hole punch and sturdy non-breakable spring

SO HOW DOES IT WORK BOTH WAYS UP?

To cut the slate, leaving a chamfered top edge, use it with the hole punch down and follow the cutting line with the V guide. Turn it over to cut fibre cement, giving a clean and precise cut.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO DIFFERENTLY?

Hold it the right way around! Work as carefully as you always have done. The new construction helps you to be as efficient as no other slate cutter before.

• When cutting fibre cement, the MasterCut should be held with the hole punch and centimetre scale facing upwards, the breaking edge is formed below.
• When cutting the slate the MasterCut is held the other way round so that the breaking edge is visible.
