DRACO K8 SINGLE LOCK SEAMER

The Single Lock Hand Seamer K8 is designed for closing single seams in one pass in profiled materials. It is particularly useful for establishing connections and working in hard-to-reach areas where electric tilting machines cannot access. The K8 effectively closes the profile to form a strong and secure single seam in both coated and uncoated sheets.

Sheet iron, aluminium, copper, and zinc can be threaded to a thickness of 0.8 mm. In stainless steel, the maximum thickness is 0.5 mm.

Application options:

Potential applications for the K8 include securing initial connections, pre-closing on clips, and closing areas on facades that are challenging to reach, such as short facades, chimney connections, front roofs, and bay windows. Additionally, it can be used to anchor very long seams for temporary protection against wind gusts.
If an electric seamer (eg the DRÄCO roofing machine K9-1) can not be used directly at the beginning of a seam due to obstacles, or if the seamer at the end of the seam can not run out of the material, the K8 closes before or after.
